About Jade & Art

Jade and Art Skotniczny grew up in Australia’s apple isle, Tasmania – world renowned for its pure, fresh foods, pristine growing conditions, and thriving artisan food industry. Together, they bring over 35 years of diverse experience spanning bars, clubs, restaurants, cafes, and international hotels and resorts across Tasmania, South Australia, Northern Territory, North Queensland, and now the Pilbara. Their passion for food has driven them to pursue a lifelong dream of opening their own venue, and the vibrant Pilbara region became the perfect place to make that vision a reality.

Established in early 2018, Soak Hospitality PTY LTD marked the beginning of that dream. Since then, they have built a reputation for quality and community, earning accolades including the prestigious People’s Choice and Best Business awards, a testament to their commitment to excellence. At Soak, it’s not just about food; it’s about creating memorable experiences, whether through their exceptional catering services or versatile venue hire offerings.

Soak Hospitality proudly serves the Karratha region with fresh, locally sourced food and drink, available through their café in Dampier, as well as through tailored catering for events of all sizes. The café, located at the former Road Runner building, offers a relaxing alfresco dining experience with breathtaking views of the beach and Hampton Harbour. Serving up locally caught fresh fish and chips, Western Australian beef, artisanal coffee, gelato, and more, the café is open from Tuesday to Sunday, offering a variety of dine-in and takeaway meals.

In addition to the café, Soak Hospitality specializes in catering services for both corporate and private events, ensuring that every meal is thoughtfully prepared and delivered with care. The venue is also available for hire, providing the perfect backdrop for any event, with ample space and stunning views that make every occasion special.
